PTI providing relief to people-CM
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said the PTI government was providing relief to the people and promoting collective cause of the society and nation.
He was addressing a 150 members delegating of Insaf Youth Federation at Chief Minister House Peshawar. Minister for Agriculture and Livestock, Mohibullah was also present at the occasion. Former President ISF Meena Khan, District Peshawar ISF President Ashfaq Marwat, Allama Iqbal Dawar and others addressed the gathering.
The chief minister said that we have multiple challenges that included the tension generated by the enemy neighbor and we have different kind of challenges after the merger of erstwhile FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that government of PTI would overcome all these challenges. Mahmood Khan said the rulers in the past converted politics into business venture.
They invested in politics, usurped the rights of the hapless people, introduced the self centric politics and they had lust for power to the extent that they subordinated the national interest to their own interest. Now we have a government in the center and the province and both the governments taking steps for giving relief to the poor people, he added.
The chief minister said that he has been under constant advise of the prime minister to work harder for the hapless people, ensure their rights and work for the formation of the society based on justice and equality which has an inbuilt mechanism for the protection of the rights of all.
Mahmood Khan said the province had multiple challenges after the merger of erstwhile FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We have financial constraints caused by the misrule of previous rulers and we are in the state of tension because of the inimical design of our neighboring enemy. The Pak Army and the nation was in high spirit. These hardships were not new.
We have faced them in the past and foiled the nefarious designs of the enemy. Again we would prove our invincibility because we have the resilience that we proved in the past and would prove it again, he added. The chief minister said that upholding merit and ensuring transparency were the basic elements of governance introduced in the province. His government would ensure the responsible use of power for the benefit of the hapless people.
