Great News for the cricket fans in Pakistan

*ABU DHABI – Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson has announced that he will come to Karachi, Pakistan for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 4.*

The Quetta Gladiators’ cricketer confirmed the news on social media.

“It’s been 14 years since I last visited Pakistan, a place with some of the most passionate fans in world cricket. Can’t wait to give it our best shot in bringing home the trophy with @quetta.gladiators,” the all-rounder posted on Instagram.

Quetta Gladiators’ owner Nadeem Umar convinced him to play in Pakistan.

Watson will arrive with other international players, Fawad Ahmed, in Karachi on Thursday. He will take part in the game against Karachi Kings on Sunday.

All of Islamabad United players will be travelling to Karachi for the Pakistan leg of PSL. Luke Ronchi, Phillip Salt, Cameron Delport and Samit Patel will be in action at the National Stadium.

Kings foreign players Colin Munro, Colin Ingram, Sikander Raza and Ravi Bopara will also be part of tournament in Karachi.

Karachi will host the remaining eight matches of PSL, following the delayed opening of the Lahore airspace for commercial flights, which created substantial operational and logistical challenges for the three Lahore matches, which were originally scheduled for March 9, 10 and 12.
