SC rejects petitions of police, other officers in ex-CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry's manhandling case

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has announced its judgment in manhandling case of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, rejecting petitions of police and other officers.
SSP motorway police Jameel Hashmi, SSP captain retired Zafar and DSP Rukhsar Ahmad were arrested from the premises of the apex court.
Sentence of former Inspector General Islamabad police Iftikhar Ahmad and former chief commissioner and deputy commissioner Islamabad was also restored.
