Former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in hot waters

ISLAMABAD - National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has given green signal to probe against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in complaints of illegal use of powers in LNG contract for 15 years. The approval was given in an executive board meeting of the anti-graft watchdog presided over by the chairman justice retired Javed Iqbal on Wednesday.
The spokesperson NAB informed that both the former prime ministers are also facing the charges of billion of rupees corruption and losses to the national exchequer.
“Both have also been facing charges of handing over the contract of Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) terminal for 15 years to a favorite company without merit,” the spokesperson said.
