Aiming guns at one family is not justice: Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE – Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has hit out at the Joint Investigation Team over victimisation of the first family in the name of the accountability.
Shehbaz Sharif has urged the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of Panama Leaks case to hold the first family accountable in place of allegedly subjecting the members to vengeance.
Criticism by the top Punjab official has come in few days after former senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nehal Hashmi had his party membership revoked over threats delivered to the JIT and the judiciary in a speech.
In his statement today, CM Shehbaz said that Hussain Nawaz was made to sit before the JIT as if he was convicted of corruption. He said that he appeals to the apex court with folded hands that the family is fairly held accountable.
Aiming a gun at one family does not account for justice, he added.
