Medina Suicide Attacks: Pakistan to extend full support in investigations

ISLAMABAD, Jul 5 (APP): Describing the incidents of terrorism in Saudi Arabia, particularly in Madina Munawwara,"a matter of great concern for the Islamic world", Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Tuesday said Pakistan will extend every cooperation in investigating the attacks.
Talking to PTV, the Advisor on Foreign Affairs said he also called his Saudi counterpart after the attacks to extend condolences and assured him that Pakistan considered the protection of Harmain Sharifain as "its duty". He said the incident of terrorism near Masjid-e-Nabi in Madina Munawwara during the holy month of Ramazan should not only be strongly condemned, but it was a matter of serious consideration for whole Muslim world including Pakistan.
Sartaj Aziz said President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also strongly condemned the attacks and expressed solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia in this hour of grief.
Sections of Saudi media quoting the official sources have blamed a Saudi resident of Pakistani origion responsible for the deadly suicide attack in Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan's full cooperation in this regard will eradicate scourge of terrorism and terrorist networks operating cross borders as terrorism has become an international phenomenon with less hurdles of borders and regions.
However some reports have also surfaced on social media regarding the innocence of the Pakistani origion Saudi resident for the last 12 years who was reportedly killed in the suicide attack.
Thorough probe would reveal the true facts of the suicide bombings in Saudi Arabia.
