Shahid Afridi strongly reacts over the disappointing performance of the cricket team in NZ

Former Pakistan captain, Shahid Afridi, has expressed disappointment on the national cricket team’s performances in the recently-concluded Test series against New Zealand.

Taking to Twitter, the all-rounder advised the national side to use talent and courage to survive in Test cricket. He also congratulated the New Zealand cricket team for topping the Test teams ranking for the first time in history.

Congratulations to NZ for becoming the #1 Test team, a great performance by @KanyWilliamson & team. Really disappointing to see the performance in the 2nd Test after a good fight in the 1st Test. The players need to apply talent & courage to survive in Test cricket. The results in NZ are very poor.

Meanwhile, there are reports that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly decided to sack head coach Misbah-ul-Haq. As per sources, PCB Cricket Committee has already begun the search for a replacement.

Misbah had long been held responsible for the team’s deteriorating performances in all three formats. However, embarrassing defeats in New Zealand may have forced PCB to revert to a foreign coach.
