ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post has lunched a new delivery service "Same Day Delivery" for delivering goods in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on the same day.
According to official sources, the people of federal capital and adjoining areas would be able to send their goods up to 20 KG through this service.
The service will benefit business community.

Pakistan Post has established especial desks at designated post offices of twin cities to facilitate clients.
The clients will be informed through SMS about the latest status their mail, parcels and gifts sent to their dear ones on the same day of the booking.
The people can acquire the Same Day Service by 11:30 daily. The charges included Rs 150 on first 500 gram weight and then Rs 50 on each and every additional 500 gram weight parcel.

The services are available at different designated post offices of Islamabad including Islamabad GPO, F-7 Post Mall, F-10 Markaz, G-5 Foreign Service, G-10, G-9 Markaz, I-10/4, I-8/4, F-6 Markaz, F-8 Markaz, G-7 Markaz, G-8 Markaz, I-9 Markaz and the post office situated at Prime Minister office.

The service is also available at Rawalpindi GPO, Katcheri, Urdu Bazar, West ridge, Lal Kurti, Gawalmandi, Bahria Town phase 8, 4 and Post office of Commercial Centre Satellite town, Rawalpindi.APP/AFP
