ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan once again lashed at former prime minister and current Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif in a series of statements on his Twitter account.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, Khan tweeted that Sharif’s idea of democracy and a prime minister heading a government is where the premier is above the law after coming into power.
He also said that according to Sharif’s notion of democracy, an eleted premier can abuse state institutions, attack Supreme Court with party workers and give money to judges.
Commenting on Sharif’s remarks on the Billion Tree Tsunami, Khan stated that the program was audited by World Worldlife Fund (WWF) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was commended by Bonn Challenge.
“Such ignorance on part of NS is shameful,” Khan tweeted.APP/AFP
