ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and China decide to launch yet another joint initiative on countering the drugs front.
Pakistan and China have agreed to make joint efforts for turning the region free from the menace of drugs.
The promise was made at a meeting between Minister of State for Narcotics Control, Shehryar Khan Afridi and Deputy Chief of Mission at Chinese Embassy, Pang Chunxue in Islamabad on Friday.
Shehryar Afridi said Pakistan has fortified its borders to choke down narcotics trade.
He said Pakistan has developed the world’s biggest databank on criminals involved in drugs and money laundering.
Pang Chunxue said China and Pakistan have good cooperation in anti-narcotics operations.
