ISLAMABAD - PM Imran Khan has responded over media reports of sacking Finance Minister Asad Umer.
PM Imran Khan has reposed confidence in the performance Finance Minister Asad Umar and his economic team.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided not to change a single member of the team, said Special Assistant to PM on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque.
Naeemul Haque dismissed the reports about the removal of finance minister and termed it a conspiracy against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
He said that Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increasing and economy has now entered the phase of an emerging economy due to the positive polices of the incumbent government and its economic team.
He said that the prime minister will review the performance of every federal minister and will take decision on purely merit.
