The police officer revealed that a mobile Subscriber Information Module (SIM) card recovered from a terrorist involved in attack on Chinese consulate, was registered on bio-metric system in Pakistan. He further said that active Pakistani SIMs are being sold in Afghanistan.

Raja Umar Khattab urged the people to register online their SIMs to avoid any inconvenience and to help curb the anti-state activities. He said that they will ask Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to establish a mechanism to monitor the sale of SIMS in the country.
