ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan special assistant on foreign affairs Tariq Fatemi reached United States on 10 days tour.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Foreign Affairs aide Tariq Fatemi called on United States Deputy Secretary of State Tony Blinken and discussed the issues of mutual concern.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, Fatemi called on Mr. Blinken in Washington and discussed Kashmir, Afghanistan and bilateral ties between Pakistan and United States in the meeting.

They also talked about several challenges in the region and prevailing hostilities between Pakistan and India in detail, sources said.

Fatemi said that Pakistan wishes to resolve all the issues with India via dialogue.

Uri incident is part of India constant blame game: Fatemi    

The prime minister’s special assistant also informed the US official about the situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir. He added that peace is not possible without resolution of the dispute.
