Pakistan and Philippines vow to work together on women empowerment

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan and Philippine have agreed to work together on women empowerment promoting women role models and exiting poor women out of poverty.
This was decided at a meeting of Minister of State Marvi Memon with Secretary of Department of Social Welfare and Development of Philippine, Judy M. Taguiwalo in Manila.
They discussed challenges of both countries in social protection and safety nets pertaining to targeting, payment mechanisms, poverty alleviation and communication strategies.
