Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway approved by PM

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has accorded approval for the construction of Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway.
At a meeting with Chairman National Highway Authority Shahid Ashraf in Islamabad today, the Prime Minister said he will perform ground breaking of Sialkot- Lahore Motorway in the last week of this month.
Chairman NHA gave a comprehensive briefing to the Prime Minister on the status of ongoing as well as future development projects across the country.
He informed that infrastructure development projects worth 1000 billion rupees, including CPEC Projects, is underway and most of the projects will be completed in mid and end of 2017 and 2018.
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said network of Motorways will generate jobs opportunities, speed up development and increase the economic growth of Pakistan as well regional connectivity.
He said the government's vision of governance is based on transparency and efficiency and there will be no compromise on both the components.
