ISIS has penetrated in education institutions of Pakistan: DG ISPR
LONDON: Director General of Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor has spoken about the presence of ISIS in Pakistan.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that terrorist organisations IS and Jamaat-ul-Ahraar have access to key educational institutes of the country.
He made the statement during a media briefing at Pakistani High Commission in London.
The ISPR chief stated that Pakistan is passing through a critical phase but the security situation of the country is improving.
“Taliban no longer has control in any part of Pakistan,” he said.
Ghafoor stated that there was a time when Pakistan was a “darling of the west”.
“The attitude of the western countries towards Pakistan has started to change with the passage of time.”
