Huge Blind Shark caught at Karachi Sea coast

KARACHI: A group of fishermen on Wednesday caught a giant blind shark.
According to the TV channel, the 16-foot sea creature was moved from ship to a truck through a crane.
The blind shark would be auctioned at One Jetty on Thursday morning before being chopped and sold in the market.
Another private television channel reported that the shark weighed around 3.5 tons.
Last year fishermen caught a rare tiger shark about 186km south of Karachi in the Indus Swatch area off Keti Bunder, which according to the WWF-Pakistan was sold off for Rs55,000 at the Karachi Fish Harbour.
The rare marine animal measured around 3.8 metres in length and weighed around 550kg.
