AJK President urges world to take notice of Indian atrocities in IOK

ISLAMABAD: (APP) President Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJ&K) Sardar Masood Khan Thursday urged international community to play its role for resolving lingering Kashmir dispute.

United Nations and other organizations should take notice of human rights violations being committed by Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir, he said talking to PTV.

Expressing his serious concern he said that world community should pay attention to address the issue of Kashmir.

India was not allowing delegations of international organizations to visit Indian Occupied Kashmir for facts finding, he observed.

The President AJK said Kashmiri people were rendering sacrifices of lives for independence from Indian occupation.

He said Pakistan would continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri people in their just cause.

There was a wave of hate in India due to anti-people policies and minorities were feeling unsafe which was a matter of concern, he said.

Sardar Masood Khan said India claimed itself to be a secular state and biggest democracy in the world, was violating fundamental human rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

He regretted that Indian forces were brutally killing innocent Kashmiri people and no body was taking notice of it.

Replying to a question, he said industrial zone and express way would be made in AJK under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project. Besides it, two hydel power projects would also be completed, he added.

After the completion of projects under CPEC, the AJK President said that investment opportunities would be increased as international countries were taking keen interest in this part of the region.
