PTI and Government lock horns over D Chowk Jalsa

ISLAMABAD: PTI decided to hold a political gathering here at D-Chowk on 24th April on the occasion of party foundation day as well as decided to launch a movement “Sindh Jagao Pakistan Bachao” from 26 April.
As per details, PTI decided to conduct public gathering here at D-Chowk on the occasion of party foundation day while Chairman Imran Khan would address the political gathering here at D-Chowk.
PTI workers and supporters throughout the country have been directed by party leadership to reach at D-Chowk on 24th April but on the other hand, federal government had banned to hold any public gathering here at D-Chowk and Interior Minister has refused to allow any kind of Jalsa or procession at D Chowk Islamabad.
PTI leadership also decided to launch a movement from 26 to 30 April by name of “Sindh Jagao Pakistan Bachao” which Shah Mahmood Qureshi would lead this movement.
Public gatherings would be held across the Sindh under “Sindh Jagao Pakistan Bachao” movement. A Caravan would be started from Karachi to interior Sindh under the leadership of PTI leaders Shah Mahmood and Haleem Adil Sheikh.
