National Security Committee expresses its grief over activities of foreign agencies


ISLAMABAD: 5th National Security Committee meeting was held here at today in Islamabad under the chairmanship of PM Nawaz while civil and military leadership expressed their concerns over the activities of foreign spy agencies including RAW in the meeting.


As per details, PM Nawaz presided National Security Committee meeting here at Islamabad and discussed national security situation in the meeting. Federal Ministers Ch. Nisar, Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rashid, tri Armed Forces Chiefs, Chairman Joint Chief of the Staff Committee General Rashid Mahmood, DG ISI, DG ISPR, NSA Nasir Janju and other high officials participated in the meeting.


Anti-terrorists acts were also discussed in detail in the meeting while affairs of national and border security also came under discussion.


The meeting expressed its satisfaction over the successes of ongoing operations against terrorists and decided to intensify operations against terrorists and their facilitators throughout the country.


The National Security Committee also reviewed the recent nuclear security conference as well as meeting also reviewed the matter regarding procurement of F-16 jets from America. Development programmes of Armed Forces were also reviewed in the meeting.


It is also worthy to mention here that an Afghan Intelligence officer has been detained by security forces today near Chaman while an Indian intelligence agency RAW agent was also arrested by security forces in the  previous month.
