Afghan Intelligence Official arrested from Chaman by LEAs

QUETTA: Frontier Corps personnel arrested an Afghan intelligence officer near Pak-Afghan border in Chaman and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions over the identification of arrested intelligence officer.
According to FC Spokesperson, FC personnel conducted raid on tip-off intelligence here at today in Shaheedan, Pak-Afghan border area and detained an Afghan intelligence officer.
Huge cache of arms were also recovered from his possession which includes 4 SMG, 5 mix rounds, sniper scope, 10 ball Barings, 3 wireless sets, LMG butt, 75 detonators, 30 fuses and bullets.
During initial investigation, the arrested intelligence officer identified a compound here at Chaman in which explosive material and ammunitions had been stored by him.
FC conducted raid in compound on the identification of arrested intelligence officer and recovered arms and explosive material.
FC spokesperson claimed that the explosive material was to be used in sabotaging acts in province but FC foiled his bid by taking timely action.
The arrested Afghan intelligence has been shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation while the case has also been registered against him.
