US and Afghan Taliban historic peace deal may not see light of the day, claims top journalist

Islamabad: Senior analyst Dr. Shahid Masood on Wednesday stated Afghanistan’s situation has worsened and deal won’t be struck.
Analyzing rapidly changing regional situation in his widely-watched show Live With Dr. Shahid Masood, the analyst stated that as many as nine members of Afghanistan’s Atlantic Council have made it overtly clear that they won’t accept the deal.
On reports about deadlock, Mr. Masood stated that deadlock has emerged and it persists thus far.
