CPEC: Indus Highway to be converted into motorway with Rs 20 billion cost

ISLAMABAD: Federal Government has decided to widen and improve Indus ighway under China Pakistan Economic Corridor at a cost of twenty billion rupees. 

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent, Adviser to the Prime Minister Engineer Amir Muqam said the two hundred and thirty five kilometers long Indus Highway will be converted into a four lane highway in three years.

He said on completion it will boost trade and business activities in southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.    

CPEC is thriving fastly under Pakistan China joint collaboration and already a lot of infrastructure and energy projects have been completed under multi billion dollars project.
