Speaker National Assembly gives clean chit to PM

ISLAMABABAD: Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has given clean chit to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in all four references filed against him.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq today (Monday) rejected all four references seeking Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification from NA membership for allegedly violating articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution in the wake of revelations made in the Panama Papers.

Speaker NA termed insufficient evidences the main cause of the rejection of the references against PM Nawaz Sharif.
