Opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif lands in hot waters

ISLAMABAD - PML-N president and opposition leader in the National Assembly and former Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif lands in hot waters.
NAB appeals against opposition leader Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif's bail have been fixed for hearing by the three-member bench of the Supreme Court on October 22.
According to sources, NAB has approached the Supreme Court against Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the cancellation of bail in clean water and Ashiana scandals.
It may be recalled that the Lahore High Court had granted bail in Shahbaz Sharif's Asheena Housing Scheme and Ramadan Sugar Mill case and ordered them to be released.
The court had granted bail in Shahbaz Sharif's Aashiyana Housing Scheme and Ramadan Sugar Mill case and Fawad Hassan Fawad in Ashiana housing scheme.
It is to be noted that NAB is investigating the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme, clean water case in corruption of billions of rupees in which former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and others are nominated. Former LDA Director General Ahad Cheema and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Principal Secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad have already been arrested in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing Scheme.
