KARACHI - The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out operation in two separate locations in Karachi on Friday and arrested four terrorists, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD officials carried out operation in SITE Area and arrested two terrorists identified as Kaiftan and Muhammad Irshad. The CTD sources informed that the arrested terrorists were involved in fund raising activities for Tehreek-e-Taliban.
In a separate operation, CTD officials arrested two terrorists identified as Kashan and Abdur Rauf from PCSIR Society area. CTD sources informed that the arrested terrorists were involved in fund raising activities for Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The CTD sources further informed that the arrested terrorists were trained in Afghanistan.
