Torkham Border: After Chaman, Pak-Afghan Armies exchange fire at Torkham

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Afghanistan border situation has gone hot as fire exchanges have been reported at the Torkham Border, after heavy fire exchange on the Chaman border earlier in the day.

An exchange of fire is reported at two check posts at Torkham Border between Pakistan and Afghan armed forces, private news channels have reported.

According to the details shared by the officials, Afghan forces kept firing at Iqbal Post and Post II at Torkham Border for at least an hour. Pakistan also retaliated to the firing, they further claimed.

Meanwhile, the political administration said that a curfew was implemented in Khyber Agency following the exchange of fire at Torkham Border

The Torkham gate was also closed for all kinds of activities till further notice, it added.
