Islamabad Chess Association to launch talent hunt program

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Chess Association is planning to launch a talent hunt program with core intent to polish the existing players to find suitable seeds to develop as grand chess master from Pakistan.

Newly elected General Secretary of the Association, Nadeem Mirza in a statement said the game of chess was a strategy board game which sharpened the mind and polished the strategic thinking.

The association intends to look around for chess talent throughout the capital from grass root level so that the budding chess players can be polished and duly trained to emerge on national and international level.

The association is already working on conducting a national level tournament for the chess players in the city in near future. (APP)
