Indian National Congress terms India's participation in OIC as diplomatic faux pas: Manish

NEW DELHI: The main Opposition party in India, Indian National Congress has termed India's participation in the OIC meeting at Abu Dhabi a diplomatic faux pas.

Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, the party's spokesperson Manish Tewari said that the OIC adopted a resolution that supported Pakistan on Kashmir issue and labeled India a terrorist state and an occupier in Jammu and Kashmir.

In its resolution, the OIC condemned in the strongest terms the recent wave of Indian terrorism in occupied Kashmir and expressed deep concern over the atrocities and human rights violations in the valley.

Manish Tewari asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian External Affairs Minister whether it is a diplomatic achievement that they got India labeled as a terrorist state in the world.
