NAB opens new inquiries against several high profile figures

ISLAMABAD- The NAB’s executive board committee meeting held in Islamabad today took vital decisions to open many high profile inquiries and investigations across the board.

NAB Chief gave approval to Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment supplementary references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The supplementary references had already been filed in the accountability court. ------------------------------

The meeting also approved to initiate investigation against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan for allegedly using Khyber Pukhtunkhwa government helicopter. ------------------------------

According to a NAB spokesperson, the board also gave approval to start inquiry against Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for allegedly transferring suspected funds.

The NAB’s executive board also approved to initiate investigation against Ahad Cheema, administration of Paragon City. The board also approved to start an inquiry against PPP Senator Usman Saifullah.

The Board also gave approval to start investigation against former finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Anusha Rehman, chairman PTA Dr Ismail, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and chief secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
