Pakistani investigation team will be provided access to few parts of Pathankot Air Base: Indian Media
NEW DELHI: Indian Media has claimed that Pakistani investigation team will be provided access to few parts of Pathankot Airbase during their visit.

The media claimed that Pakistani investigation team will visit India to investigate the incident in the middle of March.

It also claimed that Indian National Investigation Agency will remain in touch with the team and authorities will fully cooperate with them.

Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha claimed that it is a political decision and we have no objection on the visit.

He said “Whether to permit or not to permit (them) into Pathankot base will be a political decision. I will not comment on it, but we need to pursue this so that there is some outcome.”

He claimed that we want an appropriate action against those who attacked the base.

Pathankot air base was attacked on January 2 by 6 militants in which seven security personnel and all the militants were killed.

India claimed that they were non state actors and having full support from Pakistan.

An FIR has been launched against the Pathankot attack in Gujranwala city of Pakistan.
