ISLAMABAD - Pakistan team captain, Sarfraz Ahmed said the team will look to end the World Cup on a high note by beating Bangladesh and if they are destined to play the semi-final, there will be a miracle.
Pakistan need to defeat Bangladesh by 316 runs in the last match of the round robin stage to surpass New Zealand on net run-rate and to book a berth in the semi-final.
“We are here to win all matches,” said Sarfraz Ahmed during the press conference ahead of their match against Bangladesh. “We will look to win the last against Bangladesh as well.
The wicketkeeper-batsman said everyone should be realistic here and the equation for Pakistan is very difficult. if the team scores 400 runs, they will have to get Bangladesh out cheaply to create any outside opportunity for themselves.
