Steps being taken to enhance revenue of AJK: Haider

MIRPUR: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider says pragmatic steps are being taken to enhance revenue of the state after getting financial autonomy through 13th amendment.
Addressing different function in Bagh, he said federal receipts are increased beside 100 percent increase in development budget.
He said banks are working under Companies Act and levying tax on their income fall in the jurisdiction of AJK Government.
He pointed out that opposition parties are bent upon doing politics on 13th amendment and creating doubts in the minds of people regarding imposition of heavy taxes.
He said AJK will be made centre of tourism to generate more revenue. He also announced construction of Cardiac Hospital in AJK announced by ex-PM Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, addressing students at Women University Bagh and Press Club, Farooq Haider Khan asked optimum utilization of social media for highlighting war crimes of Indian troops in the occupied valley.
PM AJK also announced five hundred thousand rupees for students’ trip.
