CTD arrests four TTP terrorists in Punjab, saves big disaster ahead of elections

LAHORE - Counter Terrorism Department arrested four terrorists of proscribed Tehreek Taliban Pakistan, in intelligence based operation in Bahawalpur today.
According to an official of CTD, the four terrorists had reached South Punjab with a big terrorism plan to hit some politicians and personnel of a sensitive agency working in the field.
They were waiting for arrival of a suicide bomber and had also planned to launch several attacks by making Bahawalpur as their launching pad.
The CTD also recovered hand grenades, one rocket along with arms and ammunition, maps of sensitive installations, and motivational literature of TTP.
Meanwhile, Punjab Inspector General of Police has announced big reward for the teams which thwarted the terrorist plan and arrested them.
