Afghan Taliban kill 18 Afghanistan Police soldiers in a deadly clash

KABUL - Afghanistan provincial government claims that 16 Taliban militants were killed during a clash and at least 11 others sustained injuries.
However, reports indicate that 18 police soldiers have lost their lives during the latest clash with Taliban in Spin Boldak district, Khaama Press has reported.
The Taliban militants have not commented regarding the incident so far.
Kandahar is one of the key provinces in South of Afghanistan where the security situation had improved comparatively during the recent years but the anti-government armed elements are attempting to destabilize some remote districts of the province during the recent months.
