PIA has 38 aircrafts and 19,000 employees: Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif made it clear that government will not accept political pressure to stop the process of privatization of PIA.
As per details, Khawaja Asif said that PIA is being provided package worth billions by government. The Federal government wants to make PIA as profitable institution and the decision of PIA privatization is in national interest.
In his tweet message Khawaja Asif said that PIA protesting employees cannot hostage government and entire nation through their protest.
He further added that Turkish Airline has 296 aircrafts and 18844 employees while PIA has 38 aircrafts and 19000 employees.
PIA is running flights in 60 cities and on the other hand Turkish Airline is running flights to 282 cities.
