Kashmir solidarity day being observed across Pakistan and Kashmir
SRINAGAR: Kashmir solidarity day is being observed in Pakistan, Azad and Occupied Jammu Kashmir and all over the world to pay homage to Kashmiris.
The day was marked in Pakistan on February 5, 1990 to respect the struggle of Kashmiris for right of self determination against illegal Indian occupation.
One minute silence was observed at 10 o’clock and human chains were formed at entering points of Azad and Jammu Kashmir for solidarity with Kashmiri people.
Special functions were organized in educational institutes to enlighten the new generation about Kashmir issue.
Special programmes aired on TV channels and rallies being held to draw world’s attention towards Kashmir issue.
