John Kerry demands Russia to stop bombing opposition in Syria
WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State John Kerry has demanded Russia to stop bombing in Syria and also blamed Russia for collapse of Syrian peace talks.

 

He claimed that Russian airstrikes over Syrian opposition is a reason of peace talk cancellation.

 

He called Russian Foreign Minister to discuss the matter and strategy for implementation of ceasefire.

 

Russia had launched a campaign against terrorist groups and ISIS in Syria upon request by Syrian government.

 

Syrian peace talks were suppose to start in Geneva with the mediation of UN envoy but were postponed until February 25.

 

More than 260,000 people have been killed in 5 years long conflict and half of Country’s population has left their homes.
