US ready to open door to more talks with China

United States has expressed readiness to open door to more lengthy talks with China to resolve the trade dispute beyond the announced 90-day timeline.

In a Tweet, US President Donald Trump also threatened to place major tariff on Chinese goods imported into the United States if his administration is unable to reach an effective trade deal with Beijing.

Meanwhile, China has expressed confidence that Beijing and Washington will push forward with trade negotiations in the next 90 days and an agreement can be implemented.

China Commerce Ministry, in a statement said China would work to implement specific issues agreed upon as quickly as possible.
