Int'l Volunteer Day being observed today

International Volunteer Day is being observed on Wednesday (December 5) across the world with the theme of "Volunteers Build Resilient Communities".
This day will focus on how volunteers can build resilient communities.
Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar has said the volunteers put their lives at risk to rescue the victims during disaster or calamity.
In a message on the occasion of the International Volunteers Day, he said the objective of marking this day is to pay tribute to the individuals and organizations which are active in carrying out humanitarian activates voluntarily and selflessly.
