Finance Minister Asad Umar breaks silence over media reports of his resignation, sacking

ISLAMABAD – Finance Minister Asad Umar has responded over the media reports of his resignation and sacking by PM Imran Khan.
Umar on Wednesday has refuted the rumours of his resignation from the post.
Finance Minister Asad Umar said Prime Minister Imran Khan said that such rumours are propaganda against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
He also said that PM Khan has asked me to continue my job.
Earlier, on Monday, PM House sources had also denied the rumours of Finance Minister Asad Umar’s resignation.
PM House source had also revealed that the reports on resignation about finance minister are not true. The Finance Minister has no intention to resign, added the source.
It is pertinent here to mention that the minister is receiving severe backlash as the dollar became uncontrollable and rupee faced devaluation.
