Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz depart for London via Qatar

ISLAMABAD - Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz departed for London on Tuesday from Lahore airport.
He will fly to London via Doha through Qatar Airways flight QR-629. Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz and granddaughter Mahnoor is also accompanying him.
The family will visit ailing Kulsoom Nawaz who is undergoing treatment for lymphoma at a London hospital.
Nawaz s departure came after a NAB Court gave him exemption in hearings for a week and rejected the same plea of Maryam Nawaz while maintaining her exemption till December 15.
On the other hand, IHC rejected Nawaz Sharif’s pleas seeking merger of all three NAB references against him and directed accountability court to continue trial against the Sharif family.
Nawaz Sharif said, “No matter whatever verdict is announced by Islamabad High Court on unification of three NAB references, seek favorable decision on immunity from appearance plea.” He taunted that he would be disqualified in Imran Khan and Jehangir Tarin disqualification cases too.
