KP Assembly passes resolution to bring back Pakistani prisoners in Saudi Jails

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly Monday unanimously passed a resolution urging the federal government to approach the Saudi Government for the release of Pakistani prisoners languishing there.
The resolution moved by Sahibzada Sanaullah of PPP was accorded unanimous nod when it was put up for vote in the House.
The resolution stated that the government while using its diplomatic sources could help out the expatriates by making correction in documents of the detained Pakistani prisoners.
It said that it was responsibility of the government of Pakistan to address the prisoners concerns in Saudi Arabia.
The resolution stated that millions of Pakistanis were in Saudi Arabia for employment and earned foreign exchange for the country side by side feeding their families as well. – APP
