The International Criminal Court says British soldiers committed war crimes after the US-led invasion of Iraq.
ICC's chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda disclosed this in a preliminary inquiries report ahead of the ICC's annual meeting in New York.
The Hague-based prosecutor in 2014 reopened an initial probe into war crimes allegations that at least 1,071 Iraqi detainees were tortured and ill-treated during the war.
