Pakistani cricketers hurt by massive fire at Karachi Hotel

KARACHI: Pakistani cricketers including Sohaib Maqsood, Aamer Yamin and Shahzaib escaped a deadly inferno at a four-star hotel Regent Plaza in Karachi.

Reportedly, first class cricketer Yasin Murtaza got his foot fractured after jumping off second floor of the hotel.

The cricketers were staying in Karachi to participate in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy however, they will not take part in today’s matches.

Meanwhile, at least 11 people were killed while 65 people suffered injuries when a four-star hotel in Pakistan‘s southern port city of Karachi caught fire early Monday.

The blaze erupted in hotel’s kitchen.
