LHC issues arrest warrants for GM Railways

LAHORE: (APP) The Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday issued bailable arrest warrants for five senior Railway officials for not appearing before the court in a case despite being summoned.
The court issued arrest warrants for Railways General Manager Javed Anwar, Divisional Superintendent Waqar Ahmad Shahid, Divisional Personal Feroze Ejaz and two others and directed the police to produce them in the court on December, 19.
Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan passed the orders on a petition filed by Muhammad Shakeel submitting that despite court orders, the officials neither regularised his services from December 2012 nor made any payment of arrears.
