She was addressing at Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) here. She observed that citizens of Multan were lively and hardworking.
"Local mangoes are very much popular in France and we are visiting this region in order to improve our relations with local industrialists and other businessmen", she added.
She said there was need to develop maximum cooperation between the both countries in order to get rid of this menace.
The French ambassador also informed that France was extending scholarships to Pakistani students in different disciplines including Management, Engineering and Social Sciences.
She further said that nearly 40 companies of France were working in Pakistan and a good number of traders and industrial groups from France also wished to visit Pakistan for joint investment over different projects.
She also promised to extend maximum cooperation towards local traders for easing visa processing.
President Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Jalaluddin Roomi informed about production of cotton, mangoes, vegetables, wheat, sugarcane and livestock in the region.
He urged French government to set up desk at MCCI in order to facilitate local businessmen for trade opportunities in France.
He also wished signing of MoU between French Embassy and MCCI for swift visa process for local businessmen.
