ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan International Airline (PIA) said that 16 of its cabin crew and members belonging to Islamabad and Peshawar offices received injuries in a fire outbreak at Karachi's Regent Plaza hotel Monday morning.

According to a private news channel, at least 11 people including three doctors and four women were killed in the pre-dawn blaze that overtook the hotel at 3am in the dark of night.

The stampede that the raging fire triggered Sunday night left at least 65 people injured; of them, most people have broken bones.

Panicked with advancing fire, they jumped from the upper floors to save their lives. Bodies and the wounded were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
