PM Imran Khan launches diplomatic outreach against India over Occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday had telephonic conversation with his counterparts in Turkey and Malaysia, briefing them about the regional security situation in the aftermath of India revoking article 370 and 35A of it's Constitution.
The Pakistani premier told Mahathir bin Mohamad and Recep Tayyip Erdogen that India's move was illegal and would put the regional peace at risk. Talking to the Malaysian Prime Minister, Imran Khan said that changing the status of Occupied Kashmir was illegal in light of United Nations resolutions. Imran Khan also said that the move would deterioate conditions between two nuclear-armed nations. Mahathir in return said that Malaysia was closely monitoring the situation and would remain in contact with Pakistan. Talking to the Turkish President, the Prime Minister said that India's illegal move would have serious repercussions for regional security and peace. Erdogen assured Imran Khan of Turkey's continued support on the Kashmir issue.
