CPEC western route to be completed on priority: PM Abbasi

Speaking at the briefing by Chairman NHA in Islamabad on Friday, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi directed for timely completion of projects without compromising on the quality of civil works and transparency.
The Prime Minister was told that construction on the Western Route of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor is among the top priorities due to enormous economic benefits it entails.
It was also informed that work on D.I.Khan Expressway is in full swing and it will be completed by next year at a cost of around 122 billion rupees.
The NHA Chairman said Peshawar-Karachi Motorway expected to be completed by the end of this year at a cost of 34 billion rupees.
